World Tea Expo

The World Tea Conference and Expo is a huge annual trade show for people in the tea business. Typically held in Las Vegas, it draws tea growers, processors, and distributors from all over the world, along with manufacturers of some amazing teaware.

This is a subcategory of Tea Biz, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the business of tea.

World Tea Expo 2014, Day 2: Attack of the Clonals
Traditionally, humans have farmed using seeds. That involves mixing DNA, which can have unpredictable results. Taking cuttings, though, means the new plant is identical to the parent plant. This process, whether it entails planting cuttings or grafting varietals onto different rootstock, is known as cloning.
